In celebration of Black History Month, Target has partnered with The Black List Vol. 1, exclusively bringing its customers copies of the acclaimed DVD at $9.99.
It also showcases prominent African Americans, Chris Rock, Toni Morrison and Colin Powell, sharing insights on the struggles, triumphs and joys of black life.
Still not familiar with The Black List Vol. 1?
It was created by award-winning journalist Elvis Mitchell and renowned photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, and premiered on HBO in Summer ’07.
Look out for The Black List Vol. 2, which premieres with storytellers, including T.D. Jakes, Angela Davis and Laurence Fishburne on February 26 on HBO.
