10 lbs Thinner, 10 Years Younger, 10 Times the Glam

Wanna look 10 pounds thinner, 10 years younger and 10 times more glamorous?

Apparently, there are two stylists who can help.

Ruth and Sara Levy have cooked up a new formula called, “The Fashion Code,” which they swear will work with anyone.

On Wednesday, the two fashion experts will launch the Code on “The Rachael Ray Show” – and on their new website, www.TheFashionCode.com .

“These days, there’s an instruction manual for everything – except how to dress,” says Sara. “Sure, there are tips and tricks for looking good, but nowhere is there an actual foolproof formula for dressing beautifully….until now.”

I’m gonna put this to the test when it launches. Stay tuned!

Reebok Classic Remix Taps Rappers

The 80′s and 90′s are back!

And to prove the point, Reebok has launched the Reebok Classic Remix collection.

Trying to make the launch successful, they’ve tapped emerging hip-hop artists to re-interpret original, influential 80′s or 90′s songs.

The athletic brand is redistributing the songs exclusively with the purchase of styles from the Reebok Classic Remix collection.

Last month, the collection launched with Kidz In The Hall re-interpreting “I Got It Made” by Special Ed.

Next up is Kid Sister (Downtown Music) re-interpreting “I’ll House You” by Jungle Brothers.

Common Launches Fragrance, Clothing Line

Common is launching a new fragrance with Diesel.

It’s called Only The Brave.

Diesel’s folks say it’s “a scent that represents the man who takes a stand.”

To launch the fragrance, Common will also perform at selected Diesel stores worldwide, including the Los Angeles one on Wednesday, May 20, 2009.

Word from Billboard news also suggests that the rapper / actor will be launching a clothing line for Microsoft.

It’s reportedly called Softwear.

Michelle O. on Mag Cover = Better Sales?

The First Lady’s been covering magazine after magazine, but is it profiting the media outlets?

“Advertising Age” writers suggest this may not necessarily be so.

“Magazines Fuss Over First Lady, but Newsstand Sales Are Mixed,” noted the online marketing magazine, in a report published this week.

The writers also pointed to Ebony and Essence magazines, which docked higher sales with Mrs. Obama on the cover.

However, Vogue noted it was still to early to indicate how many copies their Michelle O.-covered issue sold.

Solange Hits the Beach!

Solange recently joined a whole bunch of celebrities on the beach.

They were celebrating Op’s “Summer of Music.”

The popular beach clothing brand managed to get the “I Decided” singer, AnnaLynne McCord, Sophia Bush, Joel Madden, Brody Jenner, Cody Linley and Bow Wow together.

The cast rocked out to a Good Charlotte concert, while the photog snapped a great load of pics.

You’ll see a whole lot of them being featured in advertising for Op, which is being carried at Wal-mart stores.

Well, they’re back–with a new twist that’s got Jazmine Sullivan in the mix.

She, Zooey Deschanel, and Miranda Lambert are being featured in TV commercials and print ads, promoting the cotton brand.

Goes without saying Jazmine’s outfit is 100% cotton.
