It’s summer!
But while we focus on sunblock, shorts and sandals, autumn fashion is on some people’s minds.
Take for instance the folks at H&M.
They’re giving us a special look at their autumn looks, with the design team having focused heavily on tailoring.
According to them, “they are looking back to traditional styles with refined cuts, details and finish.”
“Tailoring is back on the fashion scene. Classic staples are the obvious choice, but updated and re-modelled”, says H&M’s Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson.
This fall, look out for a color palette that features neutrals in black, grey, brown, blue, white and khaki. There’ll also be icy or pale pastels, neons, bright hot colours, jewel colours and gold.
Patterns and prints will feature stripes and prints, flowers, polka dots, wallpaper prints, cartoon motifs, art-inspired prints, jacquard, embroidery, appliqué details and patchwork patterns.
