Daffy’s takes the cake on this promotion.
The New York based off-price retail store is giving shoppers the opportunity to win a rental lease with a whopping 90% discount.
The prized pad is a West Village luxury furnished apartment at One Seventh Avenue South that normally costs $7,000/month in rent…the winner will pay just $700/month.
According to Daffy’s, the promotion, which begins July 23, “is designed to appeal to fashion- and value-conscious shoppers in the current economy. “
Contest deets:
- Go into the Daffy’s stores between 7/23-8/14 to submit a :30 audition video about why you deserve to win the Daffy’s Apartment.
- Katrina Bowden, star of “30 Rock,” will be on hand to kick-off the contest at the Daffy’s SoHo store on July 23rd, do a mock video entry, and meet and greet fans.
- Five finalists will be chosen by Daffy’s, and a final winner will be voted on by the public at www.Daffys.com from September 7 through September 16.
- The winner will be announced by October 1, when he or she is expected to move in to the luxury apartment.
