According to Fashion Week Daily, tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m., there’ll be a book launch celebration in NYC.
It’s linked to “How to Shop for a Husband,” written by Janice Lieberman, who you may see on NBC’s “Today” as a consumer correspondent from time to time.
Of course the title grabbed me and I had to check it out.

Lifetime sure is making a big fuss about “Project Runway” being added to its lineup.
Today the network company announced the launch of the show’s web site, which according to them, engages fans in an interactive way.
In addition, the site brings five features, some of which (I have to admit) outshine what was offered on Bravotv.com.
In addition, Lifetime is heralding the launch of the “Project Runway Designer Portfolio” which is supposed to spotlight the designers’ works and allow Runway fans to “immerse themselves in each designer’s pre-Runway portfolio and inspirations.”

I’ve been browsing the web checking out pics from the New York premiere of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York.
As expected, some celebs showed up in shimmery, formal ensembles, typical of red carpet fashion.
But Ashanti and Vanessa Williams got my attention with their arrival looks — cool and laid back with a splash of bright color just right for summer.
