After last spring’s incident between Chris Brown and Rihanna, debates on teen dating abuse has been in the spotlight.
And Liz Claiborne is trying to do something about it.The fashion brand, in conjunction with DoSomething.org, is fighting to make dating abuse education a mandatory part of the school curriculum.
Essentially, through the joint initiative, young people are being empowered to work with their school boards and state legislatures to fight against this awful reality.
Apparently, Liz Claiborne Inc. has been focusing on domestic violence for the past 16 years, and teen dating abuse for the last six–which is fantastic, by the way.
