Two Fashion Lines Make Move to Mass Market Retailers

Zac Posen

Yesterday closed out with two bits of information that shook my fashion universe.

Zac Posen is designing a collection for Target and Mango will launch a line at JcPenney!

And while I got two very official press releases corroborating what media outlets have been reporting since Monday, I’m almost still in doubt.

Enough about me…now for details.

Target

Zac Posen will be the next limited-edition designer for Target’s GO International. The collection will be available at most Target stores and online from April 25, 2010.

JcPenney

JcPenney will become Mango’s exclusive department store retailer in the United States for the “MNG by Mango” brand.

Beginning Fall 2010, MNG by Mango will launch in up to 75 stores and on jcp.com. It is expected that the brand will expand to approximately 600 stores by Fall 2011.
