Ranging in price from $17.99 to $199.99, the collection remains available in stores and online through April 11, 2010.

Celebrity Style Moments :: BET Rip The Runway 2010 Taping

BET’s yearly fashion and music special, “Rip the Runway,” was taped Saturday night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.

Hosted by “The Game” star, Pooch Hall, and Nicki Minaj, the show featured runway looks from top names in design, including Tracy Reese, Tennille White, and Keva Swimwear.

Estelle and Janelle Monae performed at the taping. ”All the Way Turnt Up” rapper, Roscoe Dash also hit the stage alongside Soulja Boy.

“Rip the Runway” airs March 15 at 10/9 c.

American Stores to Debut in Milan

As 2010 closes, Gap and Banana Republic will open stores in Milan.

The flagship stores will be located next to each other in Milan’s leading shopping area on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

According to Gap, Inc., additional stores will be opened in other Italian cities, including Rome, in 2011.

There are about 3,100 Gap Inc. stores across the world, with more than 170 Gap brand stores in Europe.

Transgender Cast for VH1 Fashion Makeover Show

Three transgender women will star in a new VH1 fashion makeover show.

One of them, we may already recognize. She’s Laverne Cox of “I Want to Work for Diddy” fame.

The new show, “Transform Me,” premieres Monday, March 18 at 10.30 p.m. ET/PT.

Each half-hour episode follows the trio as they lead the makeover of one woman badly in need of a transformation–”inside and outside,” says VH1.

Cox along with Jamie Clayton and Nina Poon will travel across America answering “style 911 calls” in a deluxe fashion ambulance in the new eight-episode series.

Who Wore What :: 41st NAACP Image Awards

Friday night, A-listers attended the 41st NAACP Image Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA.

I’ve pulled a few pics of what they wore to the show, which celebrated the achievements and performances of people of color in the arts.

VIDEO: Lauren Conrad Visits The Bonnie Hunt Show

Lauren Conrad stopped by “The Bonnie Hunt” show today.

The designer/writer shared details on how she and her friends were approached to star in “Laguna Beach.”

Lauren also discussed her New York Times bestseller book, “Sweet Little Lies,”  while revealing that she is a “Jersey Shore” fan.

Hear to Help Haiti

Nearly two months after the fact, it seems people are forgetting that Haiti still needs help. Thankfully, one month later, American Eagle Outfitters is reaching out.

Monday I got word that they’ve worked with Filter Magazine to offer customers an exclusive compilation CD to benefit relief and recovery efforts in Haiti.

The CD, “Hear to Help,” is available through March 19 in all 938 stores across the U.S. and Canada. It is also available online at www.ae.com.

One hundred percent of the $10 retail price will go directly to Oxfam America, who are already in Haiti providing water, latrines, plastic sheeting, cash, and relief materials to people in temporary camps.

H&M Launches Organic Skincare Line

H&M will launch its first ever skincare line at the beginning of March 2010.

The line, featuring certified organic ingredients, includes shower gel, body scrub, body lotion, hand cream and lip balm.

H&M says the products are available in the fragrance combinations of raspberry and melon or lavender and mint.

They’re also accompanied by make-up and toilet bags made from organic cotton.

No word yet on U.S. prices but European price points look a bit like this. (more…)
