I can’t believe it’s time already!
Irina Shabayeva, the season six winner of Project Runway, is all set to debut her Fall 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week.
The collection shows Saturday, February 13 at SIR Stage 37 (508 West 37th Street) from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
I’m told that it is inspired by the evolution of flight and pays homage to The Da Vinci Glider, Amelia Earhart, and wings from exotic birds from around the world.
According to a release put out today, five of Irina’s pieces will incorporate materials from Tupperware, which the designer has manipulated into modern day ready to wear.
Looks like it’s shaping up to be an interesting collection. Can’t wait to review it!
