I am happy to report that Mondo Guerra, snubbed “Project Runway” finalist, is doing MAJOR things in mainstream fashion!
The designer has teamed up with Piperlime, creating two limited-edition T-shirts to support and raise awareness for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.
In what was pretty neat timing, the shirts launched on World AIDS Day, with Mondo’s bold style and energetic graphics standing out in the designs. Each shirt goes for $50 on Piperlime.com, with $20 from each sale being donated to amfAR.
A “Project Runway” finalist and fan favorite, Mondo is using his newfound celebrity to help gain awareness of a cause close to his heart. Mondo first announced he was HIV positive during a season 8 episode and has been a vocal advocate of AIDS research.
