Macy’s Launches SATC2-Inspired Girls Weekend

The world has officially gone Sex And The City 2 crazy! Just when we thought we’d seen the end of all SATC2 sweepstakes and promotions, Macy’s has pulled another one out the bag.

They’ll launch Macy’s Girls Weekend May 20-23, 2010, with loads of in-store events and offers, which I’m excited about.

The mother of all their promotional activity is the SATC sweepstakes, one of which will send a winner and three guests to the movie’s premiere at Radio City Music Hall. Enter to win exclusively on macys.com from May 4-11, 2010. The winner will be chosen on May 14. The second sweepstakes, running May 4-23, 2010, gives fans and customers the chance to win an exotic trip for four to Marrakesh – a vacation inspired by a trip the girls take in the new movie.

Lauren Conrad Sports Mustache

Lauren Conrad is sporting a mustache — but for a good reason.

The reality star has partnered with the “got milk?” campaign  to teach teens that beauty isn’t only in the cosmetics aisle or on fashion racks.

As part of the partnership, Lauren is asking teens to cast their votes to make “got milk?” history and help style the milk mustache ad she’ll appear in this spring.

Visit bodybymilk.com to vote on your fave mustache look–cool and casual “California Girl” or fun and flirty “Night Out.”

One dollar for every vote will go to DonateMyDress.org, the first national network to bring together local dress drive organizations across the U.S. to help ensure every girl can have a dream night at her prom.

In addition, for each vote cast, teens will be entered to win fashion and beauty prizes from Lauren’s ad shoot. One person will be selected to win a professional style session and will appear alongside Lauren as she reveals the ad voters choose.

SKYY Vodka Celebrates Sex and The City 2 with Sweepstakes

Recently, I shared what I thought were some of the coolest SATC 2 promotions around town. But today, I discovered one more that I have to tell you about.

In case you haven’t noticed, SKYY Vodka is the official spirit partner of “Sex and the City 2.”

And they have announced some pretty exciting promotions, including a fashion consultation with Patricia Field and advance screenings–one of which is hosted by Mr. Big (legally known as Chris Noth). In addition, there’s a new limited-edition SKYY Vodka bottle and glam cocktails in the mix.

Preview :: Rachel Roy Spring 2010 at Macy’s

Rachel Roy, who’s becoming a definite favorite for many fashion-forward women, has created the Rachel Roy line as the younger sister of her designer brand.

Available at Macy’s, it’s fresh, glam and youthful, ranges from $29 to $299, and includes sportswear, footwear, jewelry and handbags.

And if  you’re a double-R fan and happen to be in Atlanta two weekends from now, consider yourself très lucky. Rachel Roy will be hosting a special fashion event there to introduce the new collection at Macy’s, Lenox Square Mall on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 2 p.m.

The department store says you can expect “a vibrant, fashion-filled afternoon,” with music and hors d’oeuvres. Plus, you’ll have the chance to receive a signed copy of the Rachel Rachel Roy Spring 2010 Collection Look Book and a special gift with a Rachel Rachel Roy purchase of $100 or more.

Getting Comfortable with Stacy London

Style expert, Stacy London is giving women all over America three million reasons to be comfortable.

She’s aligned herself with a brand that’s giving away that many samples of a product I happen to swear by–and the reason why several pairs of shoes in my closet haven’t yet been tossed.

The makers of Dr. Scholl’s For Her Insoles are inviting Facebook users to sign up for free samples of their super-comfortable product online.

They say they’ll also be putting free samples in select magazines running ads which feature London.

Not bad at all!
