Lea Michele, star of hit TV show “Glee,” is in the spotlight with fashion brand, Candie’s.
The actress appears in its only-at-Kohl’s spring 2012 campaign, shot by fashion photographer Yu Tsai.
Lea joins Britney Spears and Fergie on the list of Candie’s recent celebrity spokespeople.
During the past week, I’ve been busy looking at what the stars wore while they wore out and about.
Things I’m loving include Kourtney Kardashian’s sheer but chic beachwear and Keri Russell’s suited look.
What I’m not loving very much is Paris Hilton’s shocking electric blue head-to-toe theme or Maggie Gyllenhaal’s outfit combination.
And, of course, I can’t wrap up this post without mentioning Britney’s bespectacled look.

A recent shopping trip to Woodbury Common in New Jersey was unexpectedly (but pleasantly) punctuated by a to-die-for pair of kate spade shoes.
So the brand is very fresh in my mind. Up until then, I had no clue their offering was so contemporary.
Now I’m forced to think of them again, with news of their debut fragrance breaking today. Launching in Fall 2010, the kate spade new york fragrance will be manufactured and distributed by Elizabeth Arden.
Elizabeth Arden’s portfolio already includes fragrance brands like Elizabeth Taylor, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Usher, Juicy Couture and Alfred Sung.
Today, MTV today announced the nominees for the “2009 MTV Video Music Awards.”
That means we can look forward, pretty soon, to red carpets looks from nominees, performers, presenters and guests.
The “2009 MTV Video Music Awards” will air live on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 9PM (Live ET/Tape delayed PT) and on Sunday, September 20 at 5pm ET with Spanish subtitles on MTV Tr3s.
Today’s announcement placed two fashion icons ahead of the pack, as Beyonce and Lady Gaga earn nine nominations each for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring on It),” “Poker Face” and “Paparazzi” respectively. Continue reading
Britney Spears took to the polo field for her latest music video “Radar” and latest Candie’s marketing campaign.
The junior brand, carried at Kohl’s Department Stores, outfitted Spears for the video with apparel, footwear, jewelry and accessories.
Apparently, Candie’s will use footage from Britney’s “Radar” music video for its fall television commercial which will debut later this summer.
The print campaign will premiere in September issues of fashion, entertainment and lifestyle magazines.
Candie’s has unveiled the creative for its spring 2009 print, online, outdoor and in-store marketing campaigns featuring Britney Spears.
It’s pink, so naturally, I like it. 
If you’re a mega Britney fan, you’ll want to get your hands on the April 15th issue of US Weekly Magazine.
There’ll be a full size, limited edition, pull-out poster in there. Circulation’s set at about 4 million copies.
And Candie’s is in the mix.
The junior brand, exclusive to Kohl’s Department Stores, has signed an exclusive partnership with the singer.
This means you’ll see her ALOT in the Candie’s Only at Kohl’s 2009 print, television, in-store and online marketing and advertising campaigns.
You’ll also see much of the brand in her upcoming promotional activities, including her tour, The Circus, which begins tomorrow.
If you’re a die-hard Spears fan, look out for opportunities to win VIP experiences with Candie’s pink carpets and lounges in select markets, and other great promotions.
Candie’s is also the exclusive host of Spears’ “First Look” tour video that debuts tonight at www.candies.com.

Britney also will wear Candie’s apparel, footwear and accessories in an upcoming music video off of her current album.
News of celebrity clothing lines just keeps rolling in.
It’s arguable that in this case, we’re using the term “celebrity” too loosely.
Call him what you like but Kevin Federline is still going to design children’s clothing.
He confirmed it with Women’s Wear Daily in a story published today.
According to the report, K-Fed is hoping to keep the pieces affordable for parents.
WWD did not confirm the name of the line or a launch date.

So Britney picked a Bambi award in Germany today.
And they chose Karl Lagerfeld, distinguished fashion designer, to be the presenter.
By the way, Bambi Awards recognize top talent in the entertainment, literature, sports and politics arenas.
Britney won the “Pop International” Award.
