House of Dereon siblings, Beyonce and Solange, have some explaining to do to their fans.
As a matter of fact, the two probably need to provide the victims of Hurrican Ike with an explanation, too.
Music World / Columbia Records have issued a statement, indicating that their December 9 concert, “Beyonce and Solange: Hope For The Holidays,” at Houston’s House of Blues, has been cancelled “until further notice.”
The concert was planned to benefit the Texas victims of Hurricane Ike.
Why the cancellation?
The record company says it’s “due to a set of irresolvable scheduling conflicts.”
The one hour-concert was originally scheduled to premiere on Fuse on Sunday, December 21.
The concert was intended to benefit the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund to aid Texas victims of Hurricane Ike through the Survivor Foundation, a Knowles family charity helping people in need.
“Beyonce and Solange regret the cancellation of their Houston-area holiday concert and urge their fans to support the efforts of The Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund and the Survivor Foundation,” they said.
