Kohl’s is giving JCPenney a run for their money!
The department store chain today announced its 2008 back-to-school marketing campaign.
It features a slate of celebs–Lenny Kravitz, Avril Lavigne, Hayden Panettiere, Plain White T’s, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Vanessa Carlton.
Labeled ‘Inspired by the Artists…worn by you,’ the campaign appeals to a cross-generational group of shoppers.

Lenny Kravitz’ new song, “Love Revolution,” is also being incorporated into campaign elements.
