Looks like after a brief return of LA Gear Originals earlier this year, another style from the LA Gear lineup is returning.

Remember LA Gear Lights?

According to LA Gear, this comeback is a revival of the legendary LA Tech light ups from the early 90s.

Apparently, only limited quantities of the new sneakers are available.

Men’s Lights come in White/Silver, Green/ Olive, Black/Purple, and Blue. Women’s Lights come in two colors, Red and Gold.

The LA Lights go on sale December 12, 2009, at all Sportie LA stores and online.

I’ve also learned that they’re prepping for a “broader” release in January 2010.

Anxiously waiting to see if this throwback trend will catch on at all.
