It’s what I imagine will be an all-male-version of ANTM or “Models of the Runway.”
For obvious reasons (*wink), I can’t wait until CENTRIC’s new show, “Model City,” premieres February 18 at 8 PM ET.
But above all, I’m terribly curious about how African-American and Latino male models get by in the world of fashion. This, especially since it must be crazily dramatic in an elite male model trade, where only two percent of the industry account for African American and Latin male models.
And CENTRIC promises to give us a full-on view of how it goes down from go-sees and castings to the catwalk and high-profile campaigns.
As they put it, “Model City” will give us “an exclusive look at the highly competitive rollercoaster world of the male model of color.”
And I absolutely can’t wait to get a glimpse of it!
Expect reviews of this one!
