Mary J. Blige is proving that charity work doesn’t have to be blasé or boring.
Her charity, FFAWN (Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now), is forming hip fashion partnerships to make a difference.
Building on a previous project with Gucci, Mary J. Blige has now linked with fashion designer, Catherine Malandrino.
The two have collaborated on an inspirational tunic T-shirt collection, featuring declarations like “I’m Love,” “I’m Life,” “I’m Free,” “I’m Power.”
As part of the partnership, Blige and Malandrino will host a meet-and-greet at the NYC Bloomingdale’s flagship store on February 17. The event includes a special signing of FFAWN merchandise. All proceeds go directly to the Foundation.
