It probably won’t be long before someone’s baby’s first words are “Bergdorf Goodman.”

Today, the NYC specialty retailer announced the launch of a newly created children’s department named “LITTLE BG” on its seventh floor.

The store also revealed details of the fun, story-telling space, which also features an imaginative tree house that extends from floor to ceiling at its center.

According to Bergdorf Goodman, LITTLE BG stocks clothing and accessories in sizes newborn through six, featuring mini-me versions of grown-up fashion lines.

It also includes faves like Tartine et Chocolat, Little Marc Jacobs, Junior Gaultier, Baby Cz by Carolina Zapf, Loro Piana, Baby Dior, Hickey Freeman, Charvet, Vilbrequin, Isabel Garreton, Joan Calabrese and Petit Bateau.
