I love it when H&M gives me a sneak peek into their next-season inventory.
This time, it’s their Autumn 2010 collection, which screams early eighties.
Expect lots of elegant tailoring, with the soft volumes and classic tweeds and silks from that era making a comeback. Oh! And let’s not forget anything in the brown and beige color palette, suits, blazers and romantic frills.
“It’s about being well dressed and comfortable too. Soft, warm and casual. A sporty and futuristic look in black with bright accents weighs against the tailoring and knitwear. Our customers like to mix and match the new with their old favourites to reinforce their own personal style,” says H&M’s head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson.
Indeed we do, Ann-Sofie! We do!
