I had no interest in soccer–until now.

Why? Because as the world prepares for 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, Louis Vuitton has gotten into the mix.

This week, the company respected for its craftsmanship worldwide,  unveiled the special order travel case it has created to hold the solid 18-carat gold FIFA World Cup Trophy. Naomi Campbell was in attendance at the press presentation, which was held at the Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris.

Like all Louis Vuitton special orders, the travel case was handmade at the company’s original workshop in Asnières.
