Christian Siriano, the darling of Project Runway alumni, has a befuddling yet glam new project in the works!

The designer has formed a new partnership with O-Cel-O (yes, the kitchen sponge!) to design a new range of the household clean-up tool.

According to O-Cel-O, “The partnership will energize the everyday kitchen sponge with a surprise pop of fashion inspired by Christian’s fashion week designs.”

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York gets underway in September 2010.
