My very wild and vivid imagination wanted to picture Whitney Port’s world crashing down after MTV axed “The City.”

But that was not to be.

Today, I learned that Whitney is the host of a new Barbie digital competition reality series, “Genuine Ken: The Search for the Great American Boyfriend.”

In eight 22-minute episodes, eight guys ages 21-30 will compete for the title of “The Great American Boyfriend.” The series premieres on Hulu beginning January 18, 2011.

Not exactly comparable to “The City” but here’s to Whitney for getting a move on her career!
