News broke Monday that OPI, my fave nail color on planet earth, has got new owners.

But I don’t mind at all. Here’s why.

OPI is being acquired by Coty, a name we all know from the numerous celebrity fragrances that have hit the market in recent years.

Think Beyoncé’s Heat, Lady Gaga’s unnamed concoction, Gwen Stefani and Kate Moss.

OPI was pretty clear in stating that the financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed. However, Coty did promise an even greater selection of products and choice to consumers through the new partnership.

Guess it’s just a matter of waiting and seeing.
