On Monday, Vera Wang posted a blog entry from Barbados.

Why is this a big deal?

Because I’m from Barbados. (duh!) Other than that, her choice of location, accommodation and activities offers a huge hint to jet-setting stylistas in search of a travel destination.

So far, Vera, who is on the island with her daughter and friends, has had nothing but praise for the Sandy Lane luxury resort.

“There are very few places like this in the world. From the climate and the sand and water to the amazing amenities….it is indeed a private paradise. — XX Vera,” she blogged.
