It looks like “America’s Next Top Model” is going to be around for a while.
On Monday, The CW confirmed the premiere of cycle 16 on February 23, 2011 at 8 p.m. ET.
This, after an intriguing cycle 15 during which impressive names like Vogue Italia, Roberto Cavalli, Patrick Demarchelier and Diane von Furstenberg dotted the show’s roster.
And while we eagerly anticipate the start of cycle 16, the show has revealed that preparations for cycle 17 are already underway
Entirely scrapping the nationwide open casting calls (remember the 2009 riots?), ANTM is accepting videotape submissions from would-be cycle 17 top models until February 22, 2011.
So after such a prolific cycle 15, it looks like a can’t-wait situation for the show’s many supporters as the 16th and 17th installments roll out.
