Luxury department store, Neiman Marcus, launched a virtual fashion week yesterday, showcasing designer pieces from upcoming Spring collections.
Pretty neat idea, no?
The daily shows run until January 13, 2011 from 11am CST to 8pm CST, with showpieces being available from each designer’s boutique during the runway show on NeimanMarcus.com.
Quite frankly, if you can’t actually score a coveted ticket to attend Fashion Week in a major city, it doesn’t get much better than having a virtual front row seat and getting first dibs at Spring’s must-haves. As Ken Downing, Neiman Marcus’ fashion director, put it, it’s about being able to “shop the hottest trends of the season, in the season.”
