I thought the highlight of Kardashian news this week was going to be Kylie Jenner joining Twitter. (See sister, Kim’s Facebook update yesterday.) But I was wrong.
Apparently, the family, who made us spell confidential with a “K” in 2011 and bewitched us with their TV takeover tactics all year long, is in fashion headlines today with much more major news, which first broke in August last year.
Sears announced today that it has teamed up with Kim, Khloe and Kourtney to launch the Kardashian Kollection (yes, spelled with a K) in August 2011.
In a first for the sisters, the new brand will be included in “exclusive shopping destinations” created inside Sears department stores.
What’s exciting is that the new collection is tipped to cover all three of the girls’ very different styles: Kim’s glamorous red carpet looks, Kourtney’s more Bohemian chic vibe and Khloe’s rocker style.
Based on Sears’ statement, I am expecting to leave their stores with an armload of fashion goodness this summer: from timely pieces to fashionably tailored looks.
On another note, the Kardashian sisters are also working on a K-Dash clothing line for QVC, Kim confirmed yesterday.
It really is hard to keep up with them!
