“Fashion Week” and “skinny” go together like hand in glove.
Now Pepsi is adding soda to the mix, launching what it calls “the taller, sassier new Skinny Can” of Diet Pepsi at New York’s Fall 2011 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
And I love it!
The can, available all over America in March, will launch with major fashion celebrations and partnerships. The brand has dropped names like Maybelline, Simon Doonan, Charlotte Ronson and Betsey Johnson in its official statement.
But why a skinnier can? Pepsi says it’s launching the new look “in celebration of beautiful, confident women.”
In that case, cheers to skinny! (And a fabulous Fashion Week!)
