“Romantic” just about sums up Vera Wang’s Fall 2011 collection.
Sensual, sweeping looks graced Tuesday’s runway presentation at New York Fashion Week, which the designer says was inspired by iconic American women who fascinated the English aristocracy during the 1930’s.
And it’s not hard to see why. From sheer fabrics to peekaboo features, the designer remained true to the sophistication and detail that have trademarked her work, using a muted palette perfectly fitting for Fall.
