The red carpet was on trend at the 55th Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
The event, which took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, saw celebrities wearing the season’s biggest trends, and wearing them well–for the most part.
Red reigned supreme on the carpet, as did black and white.
Peek-a-boo detailing trended–from subtle to in-your-face.
Manicures emerged as an important accessory, with nail design playing a major role in the stars’ ensembles.
For the guys, the white tux seemed to find favor along with statement bow ties. Enter Pharrell and Trey Songz.
All in all, it was an uneventful red carpet, with no bizarre ensembles or outlandish getups but just enough variety to keep us watching.
And you know what? I’m totally fine with that.
