adidas just launched a new campaign, which is quite like the others we’ve seen from them before: supercool!
Check out the video from the athletic brand, which features who’s who in fashion and entertainment.
You must’ve heard about Originals by Originals (ObyO) from adidas by now.
If not, keep reading.
It’s a mini collection which has drawn on the talents of fashion designer Jeremy Scott and streetwear icon Kazuki who remain creative partners of the concept.
And they’re back again with an intriguing twist on sportswear.
Even if you won’t wear all this stuff in this collection, I love that Jeremy Scott continues his fun, fearless approach to classic sports silhouettes.
He’s built this collection around three key themes: Africa, safari and TV color block.
Check out the pics; you’ll see what I mean.
Let’s not forget the follow-up to the SS09 launch season. The acclaimed JS Wings shoe is back in fresh colors, like metallic silver.
Crazy!
Adidas and Def Jam Recordings are about to collaborate on a big project, which also features some of the label’s artists.
With Def Jam in its 25th year, the collection will feature co-branded footwear out of the Five-Two-3 range and apparel styles like t-shirts, track tops and hoodies featuring adidas’ classic Trefoil logo.
Topped off with Redman, Methodman, Ghostface and Young Jeezy signature products alongside the coincidental 25th anniversary of the record label, this collection is being celebrated as “a must for fans of streetwear who celebrate hip hop and Originality.”
Every five-inch-heel-loving fashionista needs to get casual every now and then.
adidas has launched a pretty cool option to help us stand out–even in sneakers and sweats.
They’ve launched “mi Originals” so you can design and personalize your sneakers online, anytime and anywhere.
Only four options are available for customization so far but the athletic brand promises to add more throughout 2009.
“All shoes can be customized in terms of colors and fabrics while almost every visible footwear component- such as eye stay, shoe laces, outsole and the iconic 3-Stripes- can be personalized,” they say.
And just like the Nike option that launched a while back, you can also personalize your own individual embroidery on the shoe.
Check out www.miOriginals.com/us or visit the adidas Originals Atelier store in Soho, NYC to craft your own sneakers.
We’re gonna be seeing an awful lot of adidas from tomorrow.
The sportswear maker is celebrating “60 Years of Soles and Stripes” and invading your living rooms with its first-ever TV commercial.
What’s special is that they’ve brought out A-isters from music, fashion and sport to take part.
Expect to see Katy Perry, Estelle, Young Jeezy, the Ting Tings, DMC-Daryl McDaniels, Method Man, Redman, Afra, Ryukyudisko, Russell Simmons, Missy Elliott, Kevin Garnett and David Beckham rocking the soles and stripes on a TV near you.
