amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research, is known for its star-studded events, from Cannes to Dubai.

Monday in Milan, that tradition continued with the hosting of the second annual amfAR Milano event in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week.

A few familiar faces from the fashion world, including Roberto and Eva Cavalli, were spotted at the dinner, where a table was as much as $32, 500. Noticeably present were Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosio, who both stole the show with their red carpet looks.

H&M Helps with Uber-Trendy Collection

Here goes H&M again, doing something great to help save the world.

On May 20, the giant clothing chain launches its third Fashion Against AIDS campaign, with 25 percent of the sales donated to youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects.

H&M says we can expect a mix of rock with bohemia and glamour, with added ethnic touches. Specifically, denim hotpants or patterned leggings matched with embellished tunic tops; maxi-dresses toughened up with leather jackets; plus the obligatory on-trend gladiator shoes, chunky bracelets, wide belts and beaded necklaces.

I’ve seen quite a few of the images and as far as pictures go, the collection does not disappoint. It will be sold through the store’s Divided departments, with price points ranging from $3 to $80.

Gucci Takes on Africa

For five years, Gucci’s partnership with UNICEF has brought change to many kids in Africa.

They’ve teamed up with people like Madonna and Rihanna for campaigns and fundraising activities, which made us aware of the thousands of orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS.

Recently, Frida Giannini, Creative Director at Gucci, took a trip to Malawi. The result was this touching blog post, which I just had to share along with this very inspiring video Gucci posted.
