When the Top 10 Colors for Spring 2016 were announced, I thought they were beautiful. But I was also 100% sure I wouldn’t be wearing many of them. You see, I’m more of a “neutral girl” with an addiction to black, white and grey. Buying bright colors requires a lot of effort from me.
Colbie Caillat and Leona Lewis are the stars of the newest cotton commercials.
Following on from campaigns featuring Jazmine Sullivan, Zooey Deschanel and Miranda Lambert, the two apply their own musical styles to the familiar cotton jingle.
Both commercials were styled by Anthony Franco and, according to Cotton, Inc., present a rich and colorful montage of the artists’ lives in cotton fashions by such well-known designers as Dries Van Noten, Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen.
The commercials will air on national and cable rotation beginning April 12, 2010 as :30 and :15 spots.

Remember those old cotton ads? “The touch, the feel of cotton…“
Well, they’re back–with a new twist that’s got Jazmine Sullivan in the mix.
She, Zooey Deschanel, and Miranda Lambert are being featured in TV commercials and print ads, promoting the cotton brand.
Goes without saying Jazmine’s outfit is 100% cotton.
We don’t mind wearing clothing that’s environmentally friendly but it helps if it’s fashionable too.
Cotton Incorporated, known for its campaign, “Cotton: The Fabric of Our Lives,” has released three new ads to prove our point.
Headlines for the campaign include
- “If It’s Cotton, You’ll Know It’s Green (Even If It’s Pink)”
- “Cotton. Style That Comes Naturally”
- “Cotton. Green Before It Was Even In Style.”
And they all feature women in very fashionable cotton clothing that’s also very green.
