Late last week, we told you of developing news about a Kardashian retail project at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Finally, details are in.
Giorgio Armani has taken his design prowess to Dubai. And he’s packed it into a 160-room, eight-restaurant hotel.
Today, he opened the world’s first Armani Hotel inside the iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
Armani Hotel Dubai occupies floors concourse to 8 and two levels of the building and includes exclusive retail outlets and a spa.
According to a statement issued today, every aspect of the hotel has been designed by Giorgio Armani, who says he combined Armani aesthetic with Italian-style warmth and hospitality in its design.
“I am thrilled to open the doors of Armani Hotel Dubai and invite my guests in to experience my world,” said Armani.

More than a week ago, I reported that American Eagle Outfitters was ditching its Martin + Osa brand.
Today, I think it’s also worth saying that American Eagle seems to be doing quite well in spite of its recent business decision.
Earlier this week (Tuesday, to be exact), the brand opened its first store in Dubai — the very first AE location outside of North America.
Another store launch is planned for Kuwait City on March 25 at the Avenues Mall.
