When the Top 10 Colors for Spring 2016 were announced, I thought they were beautiful. But I was also 100% sure I wouldn’t be wearing many of them. You see, I’m more of a “neutral girl” with an addiction to black, white and grey. Buying bright colors requires a lot of effort from me.

Motivation after A Long Week
Last week was the week that seemed like it had no end. It was eventful and emotional.
At its close, I found myself in the belly of Barbados, surrounded by nature in ways I had never seen it. I was exploring Hunte’s Gardens, so named “the most enchanting place on Earth.”

In September, I attended the launch of The Limited collection inspired by the hit TV series, “Scandal.”
At that event, held at the Fashion Center at Pentagon City, I met Lyn Paolo and Elliot Staples, two brains behind the collection and fitted one of my favorite dresses from the line–the tulip skirt sheath dress.
Fast forward to December, during my trip to Barbados, where I had a little photoshoot fun with the look.
