When your gal pals give a fashion item their stamp of approval, you’ve got to pay attention.
So I wasted no time checking out the Prabal Gurung for Target collection when my friend and fellow fashionista, Kathryn, tweeted me about it.

As I expected, she was right. Prabal Gurung’s collection for Target is a heavenly lineup of florals, vibrant hues and to-die-for silhouettes.

This morning, while most of America was probably rising out of their July 4 slumber, a beautiful blooming thing was happening in Paris.
Models were prancing down the Christian Dior runway as part of the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 at Musée Rodin.
With a collection that was whimsical and certainly colorful, John Galliano served up a brilliant bouquet of haute-ness.

I wasn’t invited but I’m gonna guess that the dress code on the invitations to the 2010 Matrix Awards held today in NYC was “green / floral.”
It seems like everybody was either feeling like springtime or getting an early start on Earth Day celebrations.
