Celebs Strut on NYFW Runway

The Heart Truth Red Dress collection showed at Fashion Week in New York when it got started on yesterday.

Katie Couric, Kristi Yamaguchi, Tori Spelling and Cicely Tyson (old as she’s getting) are a few celebrities who rocked the runway in support of heart disease awareness.

Participating designers in the red-dress affair included B. Michael, Vera Wang and Betsey Johnson.

Jane Krakowski of NBC’s “30 Rock,” Nicole Miller and Campbell Soup Company have set up a pretty neat program.

They each played a role in “AdDress Your Heart” to help raise funds and awareness for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement.

If you didn’t realize it, heart disease is the number one killer of women.
