A quick glance at the looks from the Teen Choice Awards red carpet makes me draw one conclusion. If you weren’t wearing something short and/or fitted in Universal City on Sunday evening, you should fire your stylist for not opening that memo (unless, of course, your look was uber-haute!).

It seems like just about every member of the young Hollywood crowd was sporting the body-con look, signaling that we have indeed entered a new era of fashion where if it isn’t fitted, it probably isn’t fly.

Trend Alert :: The Black and White of Celebrity Style

Seems like recently there have been no gray areas in celebrity style.

While trendspotting, I found a number of stars leaning toward chic black-and-white looks, from floral to geometric.

Fashion publishing goddess, Anna Wintour, has also been snapped in the trending look. All the more reason to sit up and pay attention, no?

Hilary Duff Designs for DKNY

It’s one of the many new partnerships popping up all over the fashion world.

 Hilary Duff and DKNY Jeans are launching a collaborative apparel line.

The singer/actress will co-design a collection of special pieces with DKNY Jeans brand called Femme for DKNY Jeans.

Turns out the collection will offer a doable combo of rocker chic with a soft touch.

The line hits stores nationwide in August 2009, marking the debut of Hilary’s new beauty and lifestyle brand, Femme.

I’ve got to see how this is going to come together…can’t wait!
