It’s just a matter of days now before the Versace for H&M collection is launched in stores on November 17.
But like most iconic collaborations, it wouldn’t have been complete without a start-studded runway show to officially herald the coming of an in-store debut.
While America concerned itself with eggs, chickens, lionesses and a range of other freakish fashions at the Grammys, the British also had a pretty big red carpet night.
Sunday evening’s Orange British Academy Film Awards, held at The Royal Opera House, featured a swanky A-list of film and television talent from across the pond.

Jessica Alba has been out and about doing promo work for the movie, “Machete.”
And everything she’s rocked so far has been on-trend and bold; from the sparkly zigzag number to the froufrou dress to the runaway train on the Venice Film Festival red carpet.

This week in fashion, the stars gave us a lot to chew on.
While trendspotting in the shoe department, we caught Christina Aguilera and JLo choosing flats to complete their casual looks, while Jessica Alba went for a gladiator sandal.
Of the red carpet looks, Miranda Kerr definitely got our attention with her leather minidress at the Victoria’s Secret “What Is Sexy?” event.

The Met Gala reawakened my fashion senses tonight.
Formally known as the Costume Institute Gala Benefit, the event saw what seemed like every celebrity known to man streaming through The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Trend-wise, the red carpet screamed nude and ethereal. Black seemed totally unpopular, while bold colors like that of Thandie Newton’s gown were striking.
The event celebrates the opening of the ‘American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity’ exhibition at the Museum.
