Ever walked through the cosmetics aisle, thought about trying the Rimmel brand but then totally bypassed it for something more familiar (and American)?
Well, Rimmel is trying to change that.
How? By splashing a few celebrity faces across their marketing efforts.
Tomorrow, the anticipated Kate Moss Topshop Christmas 2009 collection launches.
Topshop’s PR people have tipped that it’s all oriental-inspired party pieces, plus–get this–lingerie!
Here’s what we can expect?
Kimono-shape dresses in chiffons and silks alongside prints of bamboo, flying stalks, lotus flowers and fireworks, with chic, smart tailoring featuring once again.
If you’re still wondering, “Why lingerie?” here’s what Kate says.
“I love beautiful nightwear, it makes you feel great. I’ve collected millions of vintage slips, nighties, camis and bed jackets. Who doesn’t want fab nightwear for Christmas?”
And I absolutely can’t argue with that rationale.
