I’m proud to be working my way into the frugalista movement–a group of women who are smart about their money. They’re clipping coupons, skipping expensive outings and attempting more DIY (do-it-yourself) projects.
And DIY includes everything from home improvement projects to personal beauty.
So as the week closed, I dug into my nail polish basket and attempted a festive manicure.

Just over a week ago, Serena Williams appeared in the “Nailing It” summer trend feature.
Now the tennis player has got my attention with more on-court nail swagger.

One of the world’s fave nail color brands has finally made its way on to Facebook and Twitter.
Preceded by a whole lot of hoopla on www.OPI.com, the social networking accounts were added Saturday, and are already serving up delicious nail color tidbits.
The Facebook and Twitter accounts mean more insight into the brand, which has been wooing fans with clever color naming and vibrant colors since 1981.
