First Look :: Louis Vuitton Men’s RTW Fall 2012

For some time, Sooo Fabulous! readers have pleaded for blog posts on men’s fashion.

This is the first  fully dedicated to menswear, featuring an iconic brand presenting a RTW collection for men who live everyday lives.

This is also dedicated in memory of Barrio Dimitri, creator of La Mode Dimitri, who tragically left this earth on July 14, 2012. Loved and treasured by so many. Never forgotten.

As if we needed any more proof of his sovereignty, Diddy was crowned king of the department store today.

Sean John, his contemporary fashion sportswear company, has landed a huge deal in which Macy’s will be the exclusive department store retailer of the brand’s men’s sportswear collection.

The collection hits stores beginning in Spring 2011, with merchandise receipts arriving in October 2010.

Macy’s confirmed that to start, Sean John will be available in 400 Macy’s stores across America and on macys.com, with additional stores to be added in the years ahead.

In addition, extensive Sean John sportswear shops will be included in Macy’s flagship stores – Herald Square in New York, Union Square in San Francisco, State Street in Chicago, Dadeland in Miami and South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA.

Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection to Launch

[picapp align=”none” wrap=”false” link=”term=alexander+mcqueen&iid=7890751″ src=”0/c/9/c/Alexander_McQueen_London_cfac.jpg?adImageId=11647413&imageId=7890751″ width=”234″ height=”336″ /]

We miss Alexander McQueen. A lot.

So when I received an email today about the launch of the Alexander McQueen Men’s underwear collection for Autumn / Winter 2010, I had mixed feelings. But I was happy to know that the Gucci Group is holding true to the promise it made right after his death.

“The Group is providing all logistical, financial and human support to the Alexander McQueen team and working hard to continue the brand’s growth,” they said back in February.

So, the brand continues on with this new four-range collection: Basic, Fashion, Sleepwear and Loungewear. And the whole thing seems very McQueen with his iconic prints, including that all-over skull print as the feature on a few pieces.

The collection will be available online on www.alexandermcqueen.com and in stores worldwide from June 2010.

Prices range from £35 for a basic boxer to £370 for silk jacquard pyjamas set.

Remember Kwame Jackson?

Kwame Jackson

If you were following  The Apprentice, you probably remember Kwame Jackson from Season 2.

In 2004, People Magazine thought he was one of the World’s 50 Most Beautiful People.

To boot, he made the 50 Hottest Bachelors list.

Now Kwame’s into fashion more than ever with Krimson by Kwame – an executive neckwear line.

It turns out his ties are on sale in department stores already.

I even got an email saying he’s looking for interns.

Check  out Krimson by Kwame.
