Beyoncé Takes Over Saturday Night TV: What I Learned

MTV Buzzworthy called it B’Night. That’s exactly what it was for me.

150 minutes of my life I will never get back, spent watching Beyoncé on Saturday night prime-time TV. And I enjoyed every second of it.

Until last night, the inner workings of Beyoncé’s life were pretty much a mystery. Fans, for so many years, have had to put the pieces together, based on what the media fed them–and what little Mrs. Carter would let them know.

That’s why “Oprah’s Next Chapter” on OWN to “Life Is But A Dream” on HBO were so monumental. The entertainer, mother and fashion icon the world has fallen in love with, finally fed our curiosity.

Review: Rihanna for River Island

It seemed like no sooner than fashion fans had tuned in, it was over. But the super-short, nine-minute presentation revealing Rihanna for River Island at London Fashion Week is being heralded as worth the wait.

The opening chart-topping track du jour laced with explicit lyrics should have tipped everyone off that we were in for something edgy and hard-hitting. The collection is exactly that.

Beyoncé Inks $50M Deal with Pepsi

Beyonce partnership with Pepsi

Today, Pepsi announced a $50 million partnership with iconic global megastar, Beyoncé.

As news of the newly inked relationship broke, many started to compare it with the Michael Jackson + Pepsi partnership of the 80s.

There’s no way of knowing exactly how successful the Beyoncé “Live for Now” campaign will be. However,  I think it’s safe to say that Pepsi is on its way to becoming more fashionable, chic cola choice du jour.
