When you think of “Sex and The City 2,” Payless ShoeSource probably hardly ever comes to mind.
But after today, it just might. Patricia Field, costume designer for the movie, has designed a SATC2-inspired piece for the retail shoe chain.
Recently, I shared what I thought were some of the coolest SATC 2 promotions around town. But today, I discovered one more that I have to tell you about.
In case you haven’t noticed, SKYY Vodka is the official spirit partner of “Sex and the City 2.”
And they have announced some pretty exciting promotions, including a fashion consultation with Patricia Field and advance screenings–one of which is hosted by Mr. Big (legally known as Chris Noth). In addition, there’s a new limited-edition SKYY Vodka bottle and glam cocktails in the mix.

Two Mondays from now when FIT on the Catwalk kicks off, fashion’s future could look a whole lot brighter.
The Fashion Institute of Technology’s top graduating design students will have their designs presented at the school’s annual end-of-year runway show.
Pieces created by select students about to receive the BFA degree in Fashion Design will appear on the runway in two shows on April 27, one at 4:30 pm and another at 7:30 pm.
They’ll both take place in the John E. Reeves Great Hall at FIT, Seventh Avenue at 27th Street.
The young designers will also vie for awards from Cotton Incorporated, the lead sponsor of the fashion show.
And get this. Kate Betts, Patricia Field, Lisa Smilor, Erica Sonner, Zang Toi, and Robert Verdi will make up a judging panel for other awards to be given to students for their designs.
