CFDA Fashion Awards Honor Industry Talent

The 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards, arguably the biggest night in fashion, recognized industry players for their contributions to American fashion on Monday night at Lincoln Center.

The evening’s honorees included famed supermodel, Iman, who received the Fashion Icon Award.

Stars Support The Fight Against Cancer at NYC Gala Event

Last night, a number of celebrities attended the DKMS 4th Annual Gala: Linked Against Leukemia at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC.

The event raised $1.7M to support the fight against leukemia and other blood related cancers.

The money raised jointly by Coty Inc., a leading global beauty company, and DKMS, the world’s largest bone marrow donor center, will help register over 19,000 bone marrow donors and work to save lives worldwide.

The department store says you can expect “a vibrant, fashion-filled afternoon,” with music and hors d’oeuvres. Plus, you’ll have the chance to receive a signed copy of the Rachel Rachel Roy Spring 2010 Collection Look Book and a special gift with a Rachel Rachel Roy purchase of $100 or more.

Singer, Estelle, hit the stage at Macy’s Herald Square on April 1, 2010 for a live performance. The special appearance supported her recently announced collaboration with designer, Rachel Roy.

The Grammy-award winner created a capsule jewelry collection exclusively for the Rachel Rachel Roy brand. It is limited edition and limited quantity and includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings.
