Sure I love what I’ve seen of the Whitney Eve collection but many times I’ve been skittish about shelling out that much for a fledgling design effort. And somehow, Rue La La seems to know that.
The invitation-only shopping site will host a private sale Boutique featuring apparel created by MTV star and designer, Whitney Port, beginning 11 a.m. ET on May 12, 2010.
And although Rue La La is a members-only private sale shopping emporium, for a limited time you can join through www.ruelala.com/whitney.

Today I got some fab news for the fashionistas from H&M!
The store’s summer sale starts today, June 10th.
According to the email I received, select summer styles will start as low as $5, and the average reduction taken is 50 percent off.

A Reason to Shop at Payless
You may not want to wear their shoes, but you should try and stop by a Payless store soon.
From now until December 31, they’re offering this reusable shopping bag for $1.99.
Payless will donate $1 – the cost to plant one tree — from each bag sale to the Plant a Billion Trees campaign.
Their target is to plant 100,000 trees through program.
That’s pretty awesome!
