H&M Helps with Uber-Trendy Collection

Here goes H&M again, doing something great to help save the world.

On May 20, the giant clothing chain launches its third Fashion Against AIDS campaign, with 25 percent of the sales donated to youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects.

H&M says we can expect a mix of rock with bohemia and glamour, with added ethnic touches. Specifically, denim hotpants or patterned leggings matched with embellished tunic tops; maxi-dresses toughened up with leather jackets; plus the obligatory on-trend gladiator shoes, chunky bracelets, wide belts and beaded necklaces.

I’ve seen quite a few of the images and as far as pictures go, the collection does not disappoint. It will be sold through the store’s Divided departments, with price points ranging from $3 to $80.

Hellooooo, Havaianas!

For many people, it’s not summer until they’ve restocked their Havaianas.

So Gap has done a pretty cool thing by opening a New York City concept store with the Brazilian flip-flop brand.

If you’re really crazy about them, you’ll probably also love the fact that you can add your personal flavor with embellishments, including pins [initials, stars and flowers] and crystals they’ve got in stock.

There’s also a “Make Your Own Havaianas” customization bar that open on weekends.

You’ve got til June 13 to head over there.

And if you’re watching your money, maybe you’ll be pleased to know that price points are $18-32. Customization will run you an additional $20.
