When the Top 10 Colors for Spring 2016 were announced, I thought they were beautiful. But I was also 100% sure I wouldn’t be wearing many of them. You see, I’m more of a “neutral girl” with an addiction to black, white and grey. Buying bright colors requires a lot of effort from me.
One thing I’ve always loved about Barbados is the vibrant colors: what we wear, the paint we choose for our homes and our places of business–sometimes, even our cars.
It all pops in contrast to the cold, dark shades of the concrete jungles farther North.
It’s no secret that I’ve got a slight obsession with H&M.
The store is my go-to for fast fashion at a great price.
And as Winter steps in, H&M has released its Spring/Summer 2014 lookbooks for men and women.
From breezy, understated pieces to fun, eye-catching prints, there’s a lot to look forward to.
Check out the lookbooks and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Admittedly, I’m guilty of this awful time-wasting act.
Yellow, in all its sunshiny glory, is taking over clothing racks and fast becoming a favorite of stylish celebs.
It’s been dubbed Spring/Summer’s new neutral, popping up on arm candy, red-carpet gowns, and fun casuals.
Check out which celebrities have been rocking this season’s new “it” color.
One look at the Tracy Reese Spring/Summer 2012 collection, and I was instantly reminded why I’m a fan.
Vibrant colors, fun, lightweight fabrics, undeniably feminine, flirty looks and ladylike hats combined for a to-die-for runway show.
