Beyoncé Takes Over Saturday Night TV: What I Learned

MTV Buzzworthy called it B’Night. That’s exactly what it was for me.

150 minutes of my life I will never get back, spent watching Beyoncé on Saturday night prime-time TV. And I enjoyed every second of it.

Until last night, the inner workings of Beyoncé’s life were pretty much a mystery. Fans, for so many years, have had to put the pieces together, based on what the media fed them–and what little Mrs. Carter would let them know.

That’s why “Oprah’s Next Chapter” on OWN to “Life Is But A Dream” on HBO were so monumental. The entertainer, mother and fashion icon the world has fallen in love with, finally fed our curiosity.

David Beckham Brings Sexy to the Super Bowl

Although it advertised a product designed for men, tomorrow at the water cooler, quite a few ladies might be talking about H&M’s Super Bowl ad.

The retailer’s spot, starring David Beckham in his new Bodywear collection, aired during the 2nd quarter of the game. In just 30 seconds, viewers got a great glimpse of the footballer sporting various pieces from the new line, priced from US$ 12.95

Kim Kardashian’s SKECHERS Commercial

If there’s one thing the Kardashian clan is good at, it’s making us fall hook, line and sinker for whatever they’re working on.

And that they did in drumming up anticipation for Kim Kardashian’s SKECHERS Shape-Ups Super Bowl XLV commercial.

Like a lamb led to the slaughter, I found myself watching the clock, waiting for the 2 minute warning in the 4th quarter for the slot.

J-Hud at The Superbowl

I was about to call it a night after watching the Super Bowl XLIII.

But I just couldn’t do it!

Had to share my thoughts on Jennifer Hudson’s performance — and ensemble.

In addition to starting the game on a high note, she also rocked an outfit, which I think was just fitting for the occasion.

And the fit was flattering to her figure.

Let’s not forget the accessories, which weren’t over the top or inadequate. 

Everything was just right!
