On Tuesday, photogs snapped Blake Lively and Leighton Meester filming for the upcoming season of “Gossip Girl.”
Immediately, I got inspired by the abundance of yellow, which never, ever seems to attain it-color status on any runway.
While I’m still in love with my LBDs, I’m dying to be fashionably radiant this year.
That’s why I was happy to learn that Mimosa, a warm, engaging yellow, has been named the color of the year for 2009.
According to the experts at Pantone Color, mimosa is a versatile shade that coordinates with any other color, has appeal for men and women, and translates to both fashion and interiors.
So look out for women’s accessories, active sportswear and men’s ties and shirts in this vibrant hue.
